Founded in 1967, Avotek initially focused on parts sales. During the 1970s, company leaders observed a growing need for affordable training systems for AMT schools. During that time, many schools were using military surplus and homemade training aids. Avotek stepped up to the plate, and by the late 1970s, the company was developing and manufacturing modern, fully-functional training systems.
Avotek is a leading manufacturer of aviation technical training aids and maintenance training systems for aviation maintenance technician (AMT) training schools. We design and manufacture simulators for airframe and powerplant mechanics training, and we offer a complete line of instructors’ tools including textbooks, CDs, DVDs, posters and an extensive image library.
As a leading manufacturer of aviation technical training aids, we identified a need for quality training equipment for Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) and Emergency Services departments. To meet that need, Avotek developed ARFF trainers and also offers aircraft components exclusively for fire and rescue training, which otherwise are not available. All of the trainers are movable and can be used indoors. Whole aircraft are available for static display training.
Avotek is a premier publisher of top-of-the-line training manuals for aviation maintenance technician instructors, schools and students.
